There are many different theories out there to what causes endometriosis, but nothing has been proven yet to see what is the main thing that actually causes the disease to arise in females is still unknown.

Endometriosis is said to be more visible during the female reproductive years. There is nothing solid that is known to cause the disease, but more over the disease is more tend to show up in women that are going through there reproductive period. Also different things like hormonal imbalances can also result in the endometriosis in showing up in the female. Like different estrogen’s, and progestins which can sometimes be produced at high levels in the body. The estrogen can result in the weight gain because the body has to react in some way to the different levels of hormones its getting.

Also you can get this disease from hereditary as well, say if your parent has the disease your can contract it as well. The disease can also be found in younger girls as well, but as I stated above the disease is more likely to be visible in women going through there reproductive period. There is very wide variety of different things that can cause you to get the endometriosis disease, you can even get it from a transplantation as well. Say if you have to have a transplant of some kind, and the organ your getting is infected you will contract the disease yourself.

Many doctors recommend different treatment options for women that have contracted endometriosis there are a number of different things you body itself can do to help remedy the pain. There is no known cure currently for the disease, only things that help with the extreme pain that comes with the disease. No doctors currently know the exact cause of endometriosis, but they know that it is some how related to the reproductive process that women go through.
