Basically, the researchers discovered a group of monkeys developed endometriosis after being exposed to dioxin. Seventy-Nine percent of the monkeys that were exposed got endometriosis and, in addition, the greater the exposure to dioxin the more severe the endometriosis became.

Dioxin is a very toxic chemical of pesticide manufacturing, pulp/paper products (like chemically treated disposable pads and tampons) and medical/municipal waste incineration. They also discovered a group of monkeys that developed endometriosis after being exposure to dioxin. Seventy-Nine percent of the monkeys that were exposed to dioxin got endometriosis, and, in addition, the more dioxin, the more severe the endometriosis.
