Support For Endometriosis Patients
Posted in My Thoughts on 08/20/2009 07:02 am by ChasResearch shows that one out of every seven women are diagnosed with endometriosis. This condition is becoming so common – but still so many women do not know enough about it and when they are diagnosed with it they do not know how to handle it. Although some women are lucky enough to not have any symptoms from this there are so many others who undergo severe pain day and night.
Besides the pain that it causes – many women are afraid that they no longer have the ability to have children. It is true that women with endometriosis have a more difficult time trying to bear and carry children – but it is not always impossible. Still the possibility of not knowing and waiting can be almost unbearable for women.
One of the best ways that women can deal with the knowledge of what they are going through is to talk with others about it. There are many support groups on the Internet and in many different countries that help to support these women. By talking with other women who are suffering from this problem you will be able to understand what the other is going through.
You will also be able to learn more information on how it is able to be treated, what can happen during this condition, and how it makes other women feel. Together you will be able to lean on each other and cope with the pain and hardships that are often associated with endometriosis.

I suffered from endo for years. I had 4 surgeries to hold it off long enough for kids and had a hysterectomy when my daughter was 2 1/2.
I feel like endo is a very serious disease that some women don’t know they even have.
I wish I would have toke the time to get into support groups during my battle.
